What makes Nelson unique is what makes all designs unique: the freedom to experiment. In this case, all the structure elements are held together by a metal structure while the wood and leather tops combine to create dramatic and irregular geometric shapes. Vegetable-tanned Leonardo leather, a material of the Tuscan tradition, is used for some parts of the shelters, thus creating a color play.
