Every September, the What’s New What’s Next event in the NYDC is a building-wide showcase of top furniture introductions and brings a flurry of design panels, presentations and book signings by top names in the industry.
This year, our collection has expanded more than before with not just new furniture pieces, but also a rug collection. This Thursday, September 18, will be exciting with an Elle Decor panel discussion on “Making it Memorable: How to Infuse Personality in Every Room”, hosted by Michael Boodro, Editor in Chief.
Thursday will also be the formal introduction of our first Signature Rug Collection, complete this week with the latest arrivals, and a beautiful milestone for our Tribute Mentorship Program and our design students, who will unveil a gorgeous contemporary design they conceived and professionally executed to the last detail.
And how about our new Signature Collection pieces?? Innovative and gorgeous in every way, our new pieces are glamorous and edgy, fun and comfortable, easy and smart in their functionality. Last but not least, as always all our signature pieces are fully customizable.
The Alberto Cocktail Bar is our 2014 take on the mid-century look and lifestyles, with a special nod to the twisted appeal of Mad Men. Bright color lacquer juxtaposed with natural teak in open pore satin finish and antique mirror interior, smart ample storage and looking gorgeous in any of its open and closed positions.
Our Salvatore Dining Table, in a ribbed macassar ebony finish fit for a king, was inspired by the humble farm table designs of old. A refreshing contemporary table design with a bronze base, all functionality and glamour.
The C Y Rocks Agate cocktail table is a jewel of contemporary design. Design at its most simple and most luxurious.
The Amber Cocktail Table & Ottoman is fun, functional, and can save precious living room space as needed with the ottoman gliding smoothly under the table. Weathered wood top, gunmetal base and upholstered ottoman.
Cerusing is not only a very old technique of wood finishing, is also a lot of fun, especially when considering color – possibilities become endless. An edgy, fun table with the red-accented wood grain of the ash top beautifully balanced by the graceful geometry of the base.
More furniture pieces and rugs coming this week… Stay tuned!
