A FUTURE LOCATION THAT WORKS WITH YOUR TYPE OF PLAN
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK, NY, June 6, 2003 - Limitless possibilities of custom home design reassure every home owner that they are making their own decisions, but most people know custom design can be costly. Finding a reasonably priced space on the seventeenth floor of the Ritz Carlton isn't an everyday opportunity. With the right time, planning effort and budget, designer Susan H Arann, of American & International Designs, Inc. and president of ASID, also manufacturer and design firm Cliff Young, Ltd., together, managed to frame a look at the Ritz Carlton that sustains its location in downtown Manhattan for its quality of style and space.
A professional couple, dreaming of a new addition, a place to pursue outside hobbies and meet everyday needs without pricing out the value of their investments was the challenge. Trial and error may be a great way to design a home but in any case it becomes expensive. This is simply why the art of making a home leads to one's intuition with the help of a quality designer.
Replacing walls with glass is very common among contemporary and modern homes today and allowing the out side view become part of the interior of the home. Similar to this case, where the Verrazano Bridge lives behind the three glass sustained walls of the apartment while setting a remarkable mood for the design and layout of the space. The challenge now was to divide the alignment of concrete ceilings and lighting to create a look that softens the sync of the room without taking away from the outside scenes.
The wall unit was sculpted to compliment the curvaceous layout of the apartment. However, the idea was to keep straight sliding doors for the function of the fifty-inch plasma television without overlapping areas of the curved unit. The bar, also a built in piece, provides a sleek and hip look for additional entertainment and enjoyment purposes.
Creating precise lighting and proper installation became an art while exploring ways to highlight the importance of each room, also allowing the outside light to blend with Chinatowns glow. Every homeowner wants to be happy the minute they walk in the door and have a feeling of comfort and relief. This is where critical selections of color and trims make the final touches that add decorative features to compliment the furniture and accessories. For an exclusive contemporary look manufacturer and designer Cliff Young Ltd was able to create these custom design units with the help of proper planning and imagination while working within their budget and time frame.
Typically when you have a new space with endless opportunities you need a well developed plan for the look to be successful. With the right combination of planning, development, production and installation, Cliff Young Ltd and designer Susan H Arann, of American & International Designs president of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), show their evolving class with characteristics that define taste.
